MUMBAI, Feb. 19

DOTEX International, a joint venture company promoted by NSE.IT and i-flex Solutions Ltd, today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with BgSE Financials Ltd, a subsidiary of the Bangalore Stock Exchange, to provide Internet trading facility to the members of the exchange.

The Internet trading by investors of BgSE brokers would be routed to National Stock Exchange's trading system using DotEx infrastructure. DotEx also provides Internet trading infrastructure to NSE members.

Ms K. Kamala, Director, BgSE Financials Ltd, said, ``With Net trading set to pick up over the next few years, we have made the right move at the most appropriate time whereby we could service the investor at his doorstep. This is a significant move, the effects of which can certainly be felt in the years to come.''

Internet trading by BgSE Financials will be launched on February 20.

Mr V. Srinivasan, Chief Executive Officer, DotEx International, said, ``DotEx's ASP model allows brokers to concentrate fully on their business, leaving aspects of security, maintenance, upgradation and integration of new features in the responsible hands of experienced professionals.''
