SSI States - Kerala SMEs told to eye global markets Our Bureau Kochi, Jan. 31 Mr C. H. Nadiger, Senior Assistant Director, Engineering Export Promotion Council of India, has called upon small and medium scale enterprises to look at global markets, considering the growing demand for SME products worldwide. By aiming at the global souk, SMEs can do wonders in the export sector. Hence, SMEs should widen its network and business to play a pivotal role in the export arena, he said while speaking at a seminar on export awareness. Mr Nadiger stressed that the client should study all the facts about his product before commencing export business. Research about the market is a must and will help the client to do better business. Answering a question, he said a statement issued from the bank indicating the client's account in the branch is enough to get membership in EEPC. Mr Nadiger also gave detailed lecture on prospect of engineering goods exports, schemes for export promotion, Market Development Assistance, Foreign Trade Policy and Procedures, Export Credit Insurance and Export Financing and Export Promotion activities of EEPC India.
