International book fair from Jan 28-Feb 6

The 27th Darsana International Book Fair will be inaugurated on January 28, at the Thrunakkara Maidan, Kottayam.

At the much-awaited fair, book lovers can browse through titles on science, art, history, natural sciences, religion, commerce, social sciences, logic, mathematics, philosophy, psychology, and many other subjects. The fair will also offer interactive sessions with poets and eminent scholars.

Titles for libraries, educational institutions, business houses, students and teachers, commercial establishments, researchers, and academicians will also be available.

Around 100 publishers from in and outside the country are expected to take part in the international book fair, which will also showcase best-sellers by eminent writers.

The fair, sponsored by Darsana, is promoted by public agencies such as the Kottayam Municipality, MG University, District Administration and District Tourism Promotion Council. The fair will conclude on February 6.
