South India Shopping, an operator of a chain of malls in the South, today commissioned its first mall in the city here at Dilsukhnagar and hinted at setting up more.

The company offers wide range of products including apparel, designer and traditional sarees and jewellery from across the four southern states under one roof.

The mall was inaugurated by actresses Ms Genelia D'Souza and Ms Sneha Ullal.

In a statement, the Chief Executive Officer of South India Shopping, Mr I.V.N. Rao, said the mall in Hyderabad will offer ethnic wear and designer sarees, especially hand-picked from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The mall will also offer men's and kids wear, and gold jewellery.

Mr Rao said the company was in the process of opening two more shopping malls in Hyderabad.

“I am extremely delighted to see different traditional dresses, accessories, gold jewellery and designer wear in line with the latest trends under one umbrella, to cater to the tastes and choices of the Hyderabadis,” Ms D'Souza said.
