Hyderabad, Jan. 8

Visaka Industries Ltd on Friday announced the starting of commercial production of its V-panel manufacturing unit. The unit, which was set up with technical collaboration from Dantotech of Australia, has an annual production capacity of 12,500 tonnes. The unit was set up with an investment of Rs 12.50 crore and is expected to generate annual revenues of over Rs 20 crore at full capacity. In a filing to the BSE, the company said the product had several features such as uniform thickness, light weight and density and can be dismantled and relocated. The product can be used for prefab buildings, partitions, mezzanine floorings, roofing, false floorings, compound walls, external walls and retaining walls, the company said. — Our Bureau
