Rayves' seating fabric for Tata car

Mumbai, Jan. 8

Rayves, Raymond Ltd's joint venture with Treves S.A. of France, will make printed seating fabric for Tata Motors' five-seater Magic Iris. “This initiative will help us establish our presence prominently in the automotive seat fabric segment,” said Mr S.K. Singhal, President (Textiles) Raymond Ltd and Member of the Board of Rayves Automotive Textile Co. With Japan's Kawashima Selkon Textiles joining hands with Rayves, the company can cater to Japanese car manufacturers in India, said Mr Carl De Freitas, Vice President Treves and Member of the Board of Rayves. — Our Bureau
