LMJ jewellery export unit

Kolkata, Oct. 15

Export house LMJ International Ltd launched on Thursday its gem and jewellery manufacturing and export unit at Manikanchan SEZ at Salt Lake here, according to a company release. The Rs 2,000-crore LMJ Group, primarily engaged in exports of agro-based commodities, hopes to add about Rs 100 crore of exports business in the first year of operation of the unit as it has firm export orders in hand from West Asia. The group has also been in the trading of coal and iron ore. Alth ough Kolkata-based, the group, according to Mr S.K. Jain, Managing Director, has offices in 14 locations across the country, the release adds.
