Mid-cap IT stocks shine

Infotech stocks such as Tata Elxsi, Polaris Software Lab, Nucleus Software and Sonata Software have been witnessing active buying accompanied by gains in stock price.

According to brokers, several analysts have come out with `buy' recommendations on these companies as they are looking attractive and are niche players in their product lines.

Besides, with the top-rung IT companies ruling at higher levels, institutions, it appears, have now turned their attention towards second-rung IT companies that are attractively valued.
