Chennai , Dec 20

The NSE is introducing 26 more stocks in the derivatives segment from December 29.

With this inclusion, the total number of stocks available for trading in the F&O segment will move up to 150.

Among the list are some very active counters in the cash segment such as Bajaj Hindustan, Hindustan Construction, Jaiprakash Associates, Nagarjuna Construction and Tata Teleservices Maharashtra.

"The details of market lot and list of contracts being made available for trading in the 26 securities will be informed to members separately thorough a circular on December 28," said a NSE circular.

Sobha Developers, which was listed on Wednesday, has been introduced to the F&O segment straightaway.

The scrip closed at Rs 928, a 45 per cent gain, over the issue price of Rs 640.

Market lot has been fixed at 350 units per contract. It evoked keen interest on the option side too, with the 1,000-strike call being the most actively traded one.
