`German industry keen on India'

German industry is interested in investing in India in general and West Bengal in particular, according to Mr B. Muetzelburg, the German Ambassador to India. During his visit to Kolkata on Monday, Mr Muetzelburg called on the West Bengal Chief Minister, Mr Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee.

Later, he told newspersons that German industry was keen to invest in India and West Bengal, especially in sectors such as IT, utomobiles, food processing and tourism.
