Fortune Informatics Ltd, a Hyderabad-based technology products and services company, has changed its name and brand identity to Intense Technologies Ltd, with immediate effect, and has plans for overseas expansion partnering some of the large system integrators.

The Managing Director of Fortune, Mr C.K. Shastri, said that the company has bagged some overseas orders and is now looking at expanding into the US and Europe in partnership with system integrators.

The effort is also directed at broadening the services portfolio to new areas such as tapping into the domestic opportunity for electronic filing of income-tax returns. The company has deployed the e-tax suite in over 1,000 establishments and is working towards creating an academy in league with some training institutions to help professionals in e-filing.

The company helps in streamlining documentation-intensive applications, imaging and workflow management for banking, telecom companies and compliments companies such as Xerox, Canon, NRG and Ricoh.

The Right to Information Act (RTI) has opened up a new market for a products and services company such as Fortune, Mr Jayant Dwaraknath, Director of Fortune, said emphasising that every Government department or agency now would require a digitisation and document management system that would help them provide the required document in a digitised form to the applicant.
