Aditya Birla Nuvo pact with NGK

Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd (ABNL) has entered into a share purchase agreement with NGK Insulators Ltd to buy out all equity shares held by joint venture partner NGK Insulators Ltd and its affiliate Mitsubishi Corporation in Birla NGK Insulators Pvt Ltd. ABNL is a 50:50 joint venture between Birla NGK Insulators Pvt Ltd and NGK Insulators Ltd, Japan. On completion of the transaction, Birla NGK will cease to be a joint venture firm and be a subsidiary of ABNL, said a statement issued to the BSE.
