Trend Micro puts security solution on Web

Security software and services major Trend Micro on Thursday posted the company's corporate desktop security solution - OfficeScan 7.8 beta on the Web.

The OfficeScan 7.8 beta available for download from its site would provide anti virus and other protections for Windows Vista with Microsoft's Technology Adoption Program (TAP).

Within 90 days of availability for Windows Vista, Trend Micro is planning to launch the upgraded version of Micro OfficeScan (version 8.0), which, among other enhanced capabilities, would include support for Windows Vista. A Trend Micro release said the OfficeScan 8.0 would be rolled out in January.
