Mangalore , Nov. 10

BrandScan, a market research programme conceptualised and organised by students of T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal, will be held at Manipal in Udupi district on November 18 and 19.

A press release by Mr S. Bharath, Convenor of BrandScan 2006, said here on Thursday that the event encompasses a gamut of research activities from exploratory studies to final recommendations to clients. The research involves dedicated teams working towards meeting the research objectives as specified by the respective clients. This year, TNS India is associated with BrandScan as the official Research Partner.

`India's largest'

During the BrandScan fair, innovative data-collection methods such as disguised games are deployed to capture data from the subconscious mind of the respondents to provide relevant information on consumer behaviour.

Since its inception in 1993, BrandScan fairs have attracted 128 projects till date.

The release termed the presence of a vibrant student population in Manipal as one of the main reasons for BrandScan receiving high acceptance from corporates who give the projects for research.

It termed BrandScan fair as India's largest market research fair.
