Outlook Industry & Economy - SSI Info-Tech - Software Oracle to extend CRM to small, medium businesses Our Bureau
New Delhi , Nov. 8 Oracle on Wednesday announced that it would extend its CRM business to the small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) in Asia-Pacific and India. Currently, the company has more than five million line end-users and more than 100 million registered self-service users in the country. "Telecom, financial services, and automotives are some of the fastest growing sectors driving our business on CRM application," said Mr Surya Bhardwaj, Senior Director, CRM, South Asia. The company's year-on-year growth in the CRM business for Asia-Pacific and Japan grew at 126 per cent. Declining to comment on any investment figures or their market share in India, Mr Will Bosma, Vice-President, Oracle, Asia-Pacific's CRM business, said, "We are making significant investment to support our CRM business, be it in the form of resources or expanding technical consultants. We are expecting our market share to grow in this business in the Asia-Pacific region."
