LogicaCMG opens new unit

LogicaCMG has opened a new facility at the Technopolis campus here. The new section will be a key hub for the company's global services delivery (GSD) capability.

The company also reiterated its intention to continue growing its employee base to help meet demands from its worldwide customer base.

Mr Rahul Patwardhan, CEO, LogicaCMG's GSD centre in India, said, "India is LogicaCMG's fastest growing operation worldwide and is currently the fifth-largest country by headcount. It forms a critical component of our global blended delivery model, used to provide outsourcing solutions to our clients."

He added: "We increasingly see our operation in India providing outsourcing solutions in the areas of application management, product engineering, testing and research and development."
