Anthapur new Yahoo! India COO

Yahoo! India Research & Development has announced the appointment of Mr Pranesh Anthapur as Chief Operating Officer.

Mr Anthapur will head operations as well as bring new ideas to the company's R&D centre in Bangalore. Prior to moving to Bangalore, he was Vice-President for Yahoo!'s International HR and HR Mergers & Acquisitions group in Sunnyvale.

Another recent addition to Yahoo!'s Bangalore centre is Mr Pete Deemer who moved from Yahoo!'s Sunnyvale office to become the Chief Product Officer. Till recently, he held the position of Vice-President - Product Development, said the release issued by the company.
