New railway facilities in Thiruvananthapuram

The Union Minister of State for Railways, Mr R. Velu, is scheduled to inaugurate several new facilities at the Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station on Tuesday. A passenger care centre, a renovated air-conditioned upper class waiting room and platform information displays are among the new facilities at the station. The Minister will also flag off the inaugural runs of the Thiruvananthapuram Central-Chennai Central super fast express and the Kochuveli-Bangalore City express.
