TRAI seeks interconnection details

In a bid to improve the quality of telecom services in the country, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) today directed all the operators to submit their respective interconnection agreements and certify that the agreements comply with licence conditions and regulations.

Interconnection agreements are bilateral agreements between the telecom service providers for ensuring better access, quality of service and roaming among the service providers and are provided for in various telecom licences.
