RECOVERS ON SUPPORT: A farmer tending his pepper vine at a farm in Kerala. Pepper prices are fluctuating widely in the futures market on rumours about global market behaviour. Futures prices have crashed by at least Rs 2,000 a quintal in the last few weeks. However, the market recovered on Friday with November contracts rising by Rs 854 a quintal to Rs 10,790 on buying support.
