Nagarjuna Construction net at Rs 39 cr

Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd (NCCL) has achieved a turnover of Rs 652.64 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006, compared to Rs 366.13 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, registering a 78 per cent growth. The net profit was Rs 39.33 crore (Rs 20.41 crore), a 93 per cent growth. The EPS (earning per share) for the second quarter (not annualised) on the enhanced capital post-bonus issue stood at Rs 1.90 (Rs 1.28), according to a company press release here.

For the half year, NCCL has reported a turnover of Rs 1,305.14 crore (Rs 725.94 crore) and a net profit of Rs 77.74 crore (Rs 39.58 crore).
