Coimbatore, Nov. 2

The third edition of subcontracting exhibition - Subcon 2007'- would be held during February 23-25 at Coimbatore.

To be jointly organised by the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (Codissia) and the Small Industries Service Institute (SISI), the `Subcon7' is expected to provide an opportunity to the large industries to identify potential vendors for component manufacture and to give new product launches greater visibility.

In a press release, the organisers said that it was planned to have 225 stalls, of which 150 stalls would be allotted to small industries and the others would be allotted to corporate buyers. Seminars would be organised during the exhibition covering different issues concerning the industry. The two previous `Subcons' were held in 2003 and 2005.
