Indo Asian Fusegear Ltd (IAFL) on Tuesday reported a growth of 5.28 per cent in its net profit for the second quarter ending September 30, 2006, to Rs 4.38 crore from Rs 4.16 crore in the same period last year. The company also reported a growth of 53.17 per cent in its net sales for the second quarter to Rs 52.28 crore (Rs 34.13 crore). The revenues from the switchgear business in the first half year 2006-07 were Rs 83.78 crore (Rs 55.32 crore). The exports of the division were up at Rs 9.89 crore (Rs 5.39 crore), an increase of 83.48 per cent. The company is continuously investing in global market development and R&D."
