Alok Ohrie to head AMD India

AMD has announced the appointment of Mr Alok Ohrie as the managing director of AMD's India operations. Mr Ohrie succeeds Mr Ajay Marathe, who will return to AMD's headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, USA.

Mr Marathe joined AMD in 1984 and has held several global engineering and management positions. Prior to joining AMD, Mr Ohrie served as the director, Systems and Technology Group for IBM's India and South Asia operations.
