Himatsingka Seide has reported a 22.5 per cent rise in net profit and 32 per cent growth in revenues for the quarter ended September 30 over the corresponding last quarter. The company has declared a dividend of Rs 1.25 per share (25 per cent on a face value of Rs 5 each).

Himatsingka reported a net profit of Rs 16.22 crore on revenues of Rs 53.86 crore, as compared to a net of Rs 13.24 crore on revenue of Rs 40.87 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The company said its retail business Atmosphere, operated through subsidiary Himatsingka Wovens Pvt Ltd, saw significant sales growth of 57.2 per cent during the quarter.

Sales during the quarter stood at Rs 5.75 crore (Rs 3.66 crore).
