Indian to fly 25 Kolkata-Delhi flights a week

Indian will operate 25 flights per week between Kolkata and Delhi in the new winter schedule that has come into effect fromSunday. The introduction of a fourth flight to Delhi, operation of an Airbus A319 aircraft to Agartala and an additional flight to Bangalore are some of the highlights of Indian's winter schedule ex-Kolkata.

According to a press release issued here by Indian, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, IC 204 will leave Kolkata at 8.35 a.m and reach Delhi at 10.35 a.m.

In the return direction, IC 203 will leave Delhi at 5.35 a.m and arrive at Kolkata at 7.35 a.m.

In the new schedule, an Airbus 319 will be operated between Kolkata and Agartala. IC 243 will depart Kolkata at 7.20 a.m and reach Agartala at 8.10 a.m. The return flight IC 244 will arrive in Kolkata at 9.40 a.m. An ATR flight will also operate on the Kolkata-Agartala-Kolkata sector on Fridays and Saturdays. The CD 7727 flight will leave Kolkata at 5.15 p.m and return at 7.45 p.m.

Flight CD 7542 on the Kolkata-Bhubaneswar-Chennai sector will now operate up to Bangalore daily leaving Kolkata at 2.30 p.m. The frequency of operations between Kolkata and Bagdogra has been increased to three flights a week.

Also, the frequency of flights from Kolkata to Kathmandu has been increased to four days a week. On the Kolkata-Aizawl-Imphal-Kolkata sector, the frequency of operations has also been increased to four days a week.

According to the release, new links have been established from Shillong to Tezpur and Jorhat by an ATR aircraft.

On Wednesdays, CD 7721 will operate on the Kolkata-Shillong-Tezpur-Kolkata sector leaving Kolkata at 12.20 p.m. The return flight from Tezpur via Shillong will arrive in Kolkata at 5.25 p.m.

On Tuesdays and Sundays, CD 7723 will operate on the Kolkata-Shillong-Jorhat-Kolkata sector leaving Kolkata at 12.20 p.m. The return flight from Jorhat via Shillong will arrive in Kolkata at 5.55 p.m.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, IC 269 on the Kolkata-Ahmedabad-Jaipur-Kolkata sector will leave Kolkata at 2.45 p.m, according to the release.
