CanBank `financial inclusion' drive

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 27

The Neyyattinkara branch of Canara Bank conducted a programme for SC/ST beneficiaries on Thursday as part of the bank's nation-wide campaign for financial inclusion of these beneficiaries falling within a given command area. Over 350 people from in and around the area attended the programme, which was inaugurated by Mr A. Melchis, Deputy General Manager, Canara Bank, Thiruvananthapuram Circle. Mr T. S. Madhusoodanan Nair, Divisional Manager, presided. The meeting was arranged in association with the Kerala Cheramar Sangham and Chaithanya Mahila Samajam, Neyyattinkara.
