Citigroup ups stake in Aztecsoft

Citigroup Global Markets (Mauritius) Pvt Ltd has recently increased its stake in software firm Aztecsoft to 6.87 per cent from the earlier 2.42 per cent.

Citigroup acquired about 19.62 lakh shares in the open market on October 16 to increase its stake in Aztecsoft by 4.45 per cent.

For the quarter-ended September 30, 2006, the foreign institutional investors owned 18.49 per cent stake in the company. BSMA Ltd held 8.63 per cent of Aztec, while Morgan Stanley & Co owned about 2.42 per cent. The promoter and promoter group owned about 43.18 per cent, of which about 35.99 per cent stake was held by e4e Holdings Ltd at end of the second quarter FY07.
