Companies that are players in the mosquito repellent segment have launched several initiatives to help the Government fight the spread of dengue in the country. Godrej Sara Lee Ltd, a leader in the category of mosquito repellents, announced on Thursday its Anti Dengue Drive to reach out to consumers in the backdrop of the dengue outbreak, in partnership with the NGOs.

The objective of the initiative is to help people protect themselves from mosquitoes in this hour of need. In addition, the company has also rolled out the `Good Knight Anti Dengue Drive,' wherein vehicles have been flagged off to distribute coils and lotions in the affected areas at discounted rates. Similarly, Dabur India Ltd has also recently donated 36,000 cartons of its mosquito repellent brand, Odomos coils to the Delhi Government to help the State fight against spread of the illness).
