Canada varsity team on visit

A five-member team from Canada's York University is on a two-week visit to India for forging relationships for joint research and reciprocal exchange of student and faculty members. On Wednesday, the delegation signed a MoU (memorandum of understanding) with the Jadavpur University.

The areas identified for joint research are nano-technology, film studies and history. Talking to newspersons, Mr Adrian Shubert, Associate Vice-President International of York University, hoped that the activities will start from the next academic year.
