SilkAir plans more flights

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 18

SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, plans to launch more flights connecting Kerala with Singapore. The airline, which now operates four flights a week on the Thiruvananthapuram-Singapore route plans to add an additional flight every week from December this year. The additional flight on the Thiruvananthapuram-Singapore sector will operate on Mondays, says a company press release. The airline celebrated its 1,000th flight on this route on Tuesday the release adds. Similarly, the airline plans to operate daily flights on the Kochi-Singapore route by the end of this month. It currently operates five flights a week on this sector, the release adds.
