New Projects MSPL Gases installs new plant Our Bureau
MSPL Gases Ltd on Wednesday installed 50 tonnes per day "Air Separation Plant" on build-own-operate (BOO) basis for Visvesaraya Iron and Steel Plant (VISP) at Bhdaravati. VISP is a Steel Authority of India Ltd's unit. MSPL Gases, part of Baldota Group engaged in iron ore mining, wind power and industrial gases business, plans to expand its oxygen plant gas supply business to 22 million tonnes per annum from ten million tonnes. The plant was inaugurated by Mr Roy Choudhury, Executive Director of SAIL. This is the first Indian Tonnage Plant of its kind, which is more suitable in meeting flexible demands of medium size steel plants. Mr Narendra Kumar Baldota Chief Managing Director of MSPL Gases Ltd said, MSPL has already initiated dialogue with customers in South India with captive demand for setting up similar kind of BOO Oxygen Plant."
