Chennai , Oct. 11

Agilent Technologies, a US-based Fortune 500 company, has agreed to sell a set of software products of a Chennai-based company called Net-O2 Technologies Pvt Ltd, on its (Agilent's) platform.

Net-O2, a four-year-old company, has developed a set of software products that test embedded software in networking devices for conformity with various protocols in vogue.

At a press conference here on Wednesday, Mr N. Muthukumaran, Managing Director, Net-O2, said that Agilent Technologies would put Net-O2's products on its `Agilent N2X multiservices test platform.' In other words, the Chennai company's products would be sold by Agilent as a part of a package along with Agilent's own products. Net-O2 would get a percentage of the revenues.

Last year, Net-O2 achieved a turnover of Rs 1.4 crore and "we are profitable."
