Strategy Corporate - Overseas Investments Pulse Foods opens outlet in London Our Bureau
New Delhi , Oct. 10 Pulse Foods India Pvt Ltd, a domestic chain of quick service restaurants of Indian cuisine, announced its foray into the international market with the launch of its first store in London, on Tuesday. "London was an obvious choice for our first international restaurant outlet not only because `curry' is the staple food for Britons, but also as per market research, Britons continue to dine out more often than their other European and American counterparts. Britons buy an average of 633 meals outside home a year spending an average of £1,224 per person, compared with £614 in the US. "We believe that the growth of Indian food in the UK is a great phenomenon that shows no signs of tapering off. London is only the first step forward in our growth plans for the international market," said Mr Neeraj Jain, CEO, Pulse Foods India Pvt Ltd.
