CAS rollout will be smooth: Minister

The Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, Mr P.R. Dasmunsi, has said that work on the roadmap for the conditional access system (CAS) is going on well and the system would have a smooth rollout in the notified areas of the four metros.

Addressing the Consultative Committee meeting, the Minister said that a month-long campaign would be held before the enforcement of CAS so as to enhance consumer awareness.
