Ogilvy India wins 19 nominations

Ogilvy India has won 19 nominations at the 21st Annual London International Awards, 2006. Fifteen are in the print category and four in the poster and outdoor category.

The finalists in the print category include Mattel Hot Wheels campaign (consumer campaign), Fevicol Adhesive `Shadow play' (consumer campaign), IAPA `Adoption' (public service), HT `Plant More Trees (public service)', Getty Images `1000 pictures' (business to business), Apsara Pencil sharpeners `The Art of Sharpening' (home products), Mattel Hot Wheels `Lift' ad (recreation equipment) and Perfetti Van Melle `Perfetti Corporate' (corporate).

Of these IAPA `Adoption' has won 4 nominations and HT `Plant more trees' 2 nominations in the public service category, whereas Apsara Pencil Sharpeners `The art of sharpening' campaign has won 2 nominations and Perfetti Van Melle `Perfetti Corporate' 3 nominations in the home products and corporate categories of print respectively.

In the Poster and Outdoor category, there are 4 finalists - MTDC Deccan Odyssey `MTDC Legend' (poster campaign indoor), WWF `Tags' (posters indoor), Fevicol Adhesive `Shadow Play' (poster campaign outdoor) and HT `Plant More Trees' (poster campaign outdoor).

London International Awards looks to honour creative excellence in advertising, design and integrated media.

Meanwhile, Ogilvy India has won two awards at the 16th edition of the AD Spot Non-Profit held in Florence at the Istituto degli Innocenti. Ogilvy India won the awards for its work on IAPA `Adoption' and WWF `Save the Tiger' campaigns.
