Big FM launched in Bangalore

Big 92.7 FM, part of Adlabs Films Ltd, has been launched in Bangalore. The radio channel is on a national rollout spree, having set its footprint in Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai recently. It plans to enter Jammu, Srinagar and Aligarh, and aims to reach out to 200 million listeners across the country. A total investment of Rs 400 crore has been pumped into the overall radio venture. For the Bangalore station, the radio channel has signed on Kannada actor and director Upendra as its brand ambassador. Mr Tarun Katial, COO, Big 92.7 FM, said, "We aim to present innovative radio programming... Not only have we developed fresh and unique content, but have also roped in personalities who will connect with listeners and provide glamour quotient."
