Xerox India Ltd has announced the launch of Document Outsourcing and Communication Service (DOCS), a new consulting service from Xerox Global Services division.

The service is aimed at optimising costs from documents, design, composition to production and distribution. It will target banking and financial services, manufacturing, retail and advertising agencies in India.

Xerox will offer DOCS as an end-to-end service depending on the IT requirements of any enterprise. The service expects 20 per cent reduction in labour costs, 17 per cent average increase in potential print shop revenue and 80 per cent greater reduction in job processing time, says a company release.
