This is with reference to "New industry policy to make Kerala a hot destination" (Business Line, October 3): The Kerala Industry Minister, Mr Elamaram Kareem's announcement that State government will come soon out with a comprehensive industry policy covering all sectors and departments is welcome news. However, Kerala will not become an investor friendly State unless it changes its labour policy.
