Om Narayan takes over as IGL MD

Mr Om Narayan has taken over as Managing Director of Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL), the sole supplier of compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) in the Capital. Mr Narayan took over the reins of IGL from Mr A.K. De, who demitted office on Thursday upon superannuating after his five-year stint was over as Managing Director of IGL.

IGL is a joint venture of GAIL (India) Ltd and BPCL with Government of NCT of Delhi holding five per cent equity stake. According to a company release, Mr Narayan was serving as Managing Director of Gujarat - JV (for City Gas Distribution) before joining the current assignment.
