New Delhi , Sept. 26 The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has conferred `star export house' status to law firm Titus & Co in recognition of the firm's foreign exchange earnings record. Star Export Houses recognition provides a number of privileges to the company, which is the first law firm in the country to obtain this recognition. Founded in 1997 in the post-WTO regime to assist firms in advisory services such as joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, intellectual property rights and dispute resolution, Titus & Co is one of the fastest growing legal professional services firm in the country. A company release said that it advises 42 Fortune 500 companies, including Raytheon, Itochu, Texaco, United Parcel Services, Marathon Oil, Federal Moghul, Intel and Caterpillar.
