Grasim's unit shut down for repairs

Mumbai, Sept. 26

Grasim Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the company's chemical division at Nagda, Madhya Pradesh will be shut for another 3 to 4 months for repairs. As a result, there will be a 50 per cent reduction in production during the said period. While this will impact the profitability of the Chemical Division during Q2 and Q3, the company does not expect it to impact its overall profitability.
