New deadline for filing I-T returns

New Delhi, Sept. 25

Income-tax assessees in Gujarat have been given more time to file the returns. The deadline has now been extended to September 30 this year, against the earlier date of July 31, in view of the floods in that State, the Central Board of Direct Taxes said.
