School wins TCS IT Wiz prize

Kochi, Sept. 25

The Tata Consultancy Services sponsored Kerala edition of TCS IT Wiz competition, organised for the first time in Kochi received overwhelming response from the student community. Over 800 students from 60 schools from class VIII to XII from places such as Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Kollam Alappuzha, Kozhikode, Palakkad, Kannur, Idukki, Kottayam and Kochi participated in the regional finals. There were extremely high levels of competition among the six teams in the IT Quiz, which went through innovative and interactive styles of quizzing. After several rounds of intense quizzing, Pallikoodam School walked away with the winners' trophy, followed by Loyola school, Thiruvananthapuram. Mr K.G. Girish Babu, CEO of Infopark was the Chief Guest and Mr Dinesh Thampi, Head of TCS Kochi unit presented the awards to the winners.
