Education reform

This is with reference to "Make knowledge utilitarian" (Business Line, September 18): There is need for reforms in the education sector. Infrastructure should be built up so that every child has the opportunity to benefit from quality education. Implementing the mid-day meal and `earning while learning' schemes could get more children into the schools.

A. Jacob Sahayam
