ECS, Intel launch contest

New Delhi, Sept. 21

Taiwan-based computer hardware and notebook manufacturer Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) Inc, in association with Intel India, launched `Do-it-Yourself' campaign.

Focusing on the assembly of computers based on Intel Core(tm) 2 Duo CPUs, the campaign will cover three major engineering colleges, one each in Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad. Teams of students will assemble computers within the stipulated contest time. The fastest team to assemble a Core 2 Duo PC will be awarded prizes that include ECS dual core motherboards and IntelCore(tm) 2 Duo processors.
