Marketing Research Industry & Economy - Human Resources Adecco, Tata Institute sign pact Our Bureau
The joint programme is to analyse and understand growth trajectories in the Indian economy, the character of labour force and to bring out the Labour Market Research Annual Report and quarterly updates. Mr Ajit Isaac, Managing Director, Adecco India, said, "Emerging economies will have to contend with short-term and long-term challenges in supply and levels of skills to meet with industry's requirements." ATLMRI will collect, analyse, and disseminate information on trends in the economy and labour market continuously, the nature of skills in demand, and the nature of skill sets stock and training available. The partnership will facilitate industry-academia partnerships for research and advocacy to analyse the conditions and nature of change in the labour market in the country; research and publish annual reports and quarterly updates on employment trends (geographic, sectoral and skills), labour demand and supply, labour legislation, economic growth and employment interface, legal, policy and regulatory framework for inclusive growth.
