ICAR directors get vigilance training

Hyderabad, Sept. 18

About 17 Directors of Institutes under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) are being put through sessions to get familiar with the role of vigilance at the National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) here. A three-day training programme on `Vigilance Administration and Management', was formally inaugurated by the NAARM Director, Dr R.K. Samanta, today. Directors of ICAR Institutes from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharastra, Kerala and Goa are participating. The Directors would be exposed to the latest guidelines from the Central Vigilance Commission. Matters related to procurement process, action on anonymous complaints etc. and how to deal with them would be discussed, a NAARM press release said.
