SRK Group's apartments project

The Pune-based SRK Group has announced the launch of the Rs 200-crore luxurious and eco-friendly apartments project - Sky Wings Luxury apartments - at the suburban Kakkanad near the proposed Smart City. The project will have over 400 apartments consisting of 2, 3 bedrooms and studio flats and also hanging gardens in every floor, Mr K. Rasheed Malik, Chairman and Managing Director, said. The group, he said has completed similar projects in the IT hubs of Pune and Bangalore and this is the first time they are foraying into Kerala, he added. The apartments were coming up in five acres with various facilities such as supermarket, office space, service apartments, restaurants, clubhouse, health club and tennis courts. The State Tourism Minister, Mr Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, will formally launch the project at a function here on Saturday. The project will be completed in three years time, Mr Malik said. The group has also started construction of apartments at the temple town of Guruvayur and will also be starting projects at Thrissur and Palakkad, he said.
