Development Summit in Mysore from Monday

The summit will culminate in the creation of Asia OD Network.

Bangalore , Sept. 15

A four-day Global Organisation Development Summit (GODS) that will bring together experts from academia and OD experts, is being held in Mysore from September 18.

The focus of the summit will be Organisational Development, its relevance and importance in improving organisational effectiveness.

The meet is being held at the Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara Institute for Management Development (SDM-IMD), in association with the Indian Society for Applied Behavioural Science (ISABS) and Infosys Leadership Institute (ILI), Mysore, said Mr R. Mohanakrishnan, Chairman of the Summit.

The summit will culminate in the creation of Asia OD Network, which will be affiliated to the International OD Association (IODA).

Prof. Udai Pareek, HRD specialist, Prof. Peter Koestenbaum (Harvard Business School), Roland Sullivan (USA), Prof. David Bradford (Stanford Business School) and Ms. Anne Littwin, the Ex. President of National Training Laboratory (NTL), Mr Venu Srinivasan, TVS Motors and Mr Mohan Das Pai, Infosys Technologies are among the key speakers.

The themes for discussion are Lessons learned in Institution Building, Paradigm Shift for Change Management, Role of Management Education in Organisation Development and Institution Building OD for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
